My laziness

Sorry for not updating the blog lately. To be honest it`s all been a bit quiet here - not even a bit of flooding to make things` interesting`? Walking past the Chicago Rock Cafe on a warm evening there`s load of drunks tottering all over the place :)

Going to do a bit more ferretting around for some noteworthy news.

My Friend Jake

This is Jake.

He is a f*cking psychopath. He is also hard as nails.

Weirdly enough he is also a vegetarian!

Make of that what you will....

Interesting weekend

Hi

Sorry for not posting on time - I had to deal with some inbox issues. You know, it`s not all doom and gloom: we had a very interesting parachute display by the Red Devils last week; here`s some shots of the other stuff too!

Congratulations to Boris John on his proposal to stand as Mayor of London. Long may he reign!!

Drive-by

I posted yesterday about the Chicago Rock Cafe - apparently it was a firebombing: somebody lobbed a `Molotv Cocktail` from a passing car!

Clubs `n` combat

The weekend`s coming up, so I thought I`d turn to the clubbing side of things. As you know, Portsmouth is quite a shithole; but things have improved with the moving of the clubs from Southsea (the last oasis of hope) to the city centre (I`ll get some shots of that up later).

I had a look on Youtube for some shots I saw of combat kicking off outside the Chicago Rock Cafe - but it`s gone!! Instead I`ll put up a picture of what suspiciously looks like someone`s head has been rammed through a window (although I`ve been told it was a firebombing attempt!) Still, it`s a big improvement on Time (I love the "let`s not beat around the bush so drop your knickers" type sign - SPUNKY!) Even so, I hope they shift all the clubbers to the city centre.

Hope y`all have a safe weekend!

Weekly postings

Had a look at the site traffic - weekends seem to be the most popular, so that`s when I`m going to post. Given y`all something new to read about (not that that much happens in Portsmouth, so I`m going to throw in a bit more content too).

Starting with my favourite websites: http://www.propertysnake.co.uk/ & http://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/

Next up, stupid me got a caution under Section 5 of the Public Order Act. Why? My mate Mark Austin and a few of his colleagues have been very active in trying to expose the major baskhish (backhander) scandal that has engulfed Portsmouth City Council. Last week they set up a marquee and (quite peacefully) protested against the bribes going on at Guildhall Square. Soon after the police rolled up and started dishing out grief in a very bullying and unpleasant way to a couple of senior citizens (see picture).

Taking a few snaps of the whole sorry on my camera PC 2224 was really abusive, telling me to `shove off`. Admittedly I accused him of being a w8nker, but then I think anybody would have; besides, I was just speaking the truth! :)

After the authorities had moved on, we all decided to send reports to the police complaints commission. The bottom line: something suspicious must be going on inside Portsmouth City Council, otherwise why the SS tactics by the police??

Portsmouth Hot Spots

I`ve provided a rough map of Portsmouth: the red areas are crawling with chavs - best to be avoided are Buckland, Fratton, Somers Town, Portsea and Stamshaw. I`ll try and give an in-depth view of these first before moving onto the outlying `hot spots` (Leigh Park and Paulsgrove).

Southsea and Eastney - displayed in green are very safe; Copnor and its environs do not have much of a chav problem as far as I know.

Unmarked (white ) areas are generally chav-free, but aren`t very nice to live in anyway. Also included are military sites (off limits to the public).
